It doesn't matter what the cause of time out of school is, the longer you are out, the harder it is to get back in - particularly in years 11 and 12. Classes are taught to cover a set syllabus and curriculum in a set timeframe, and if you miss a substantial chunk, it can be impossible to catch up and complete the semester.
We don't care where you are or what you are doing - if you need time out, take it. And when you come back, you can pick up where you left off because we work with you on a one to one basis so we flex to your needs and availability.
Often we create learning tasks and assessments around the need for your time out from attending, so you can use this time productively and learn from your own context and experiences. Becoming a young parent, for example, is a huge learning experience on so many fronts that can be captured within a high school certificate, as can the learning associated with experiencing different cultures when travelling, or managing your health for recovery, or the reflective community processes associated with Sorry Business.
Depending on your circumstances and why you have had or need the time out will depend on which option is best for you. It may simply be a homeschooling subscription for a while, or it may be a mix of tutorials and homeschooling.

Inventorium Education
Inventorium acknowledges that underneath our feet is a land criss-crossed with the lines of a map that has existed for thousands of years. Our staff live and work on the land of the Kaurna, Ramindjeri, and Ngarrindjeri people in the South, and the Dharug and Eora peoples in the East. We honour and extend respect to the indigenous members of our community, and recognise their connection with Country, and we are grateful to be able to share this country with Australians from all nations.
