Please reach us at info@inventorium.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Inventorium platforms are interdisciplinary so it is not possible to use the Inventorium for one subject only. We have embedded maths, English, HASS and sciences throughout the middle years curriculum as we focus on answering bigger questions students like to ask, such as how did we get here; what do we need to survive; or can I live off the grid? We have a curriculum map that demonstrates how our platform covers the ACARA curriculum requirements for years 7-9 and years 10-12 maps to SACE.
All Inventorium teachers are fully qualified registered teachers with the South Australian Tearchers Registration Board. In addition our RTO facilitators have their TAE40116 qualification to allow them to assess VET qualifications.
Inventorium Education has platforms for years 7-9 which we call our Middle Years platform, and for years 10-12 and beyond, which we call our Classroom platform. We have a 'corporate' version of our 10-12 platform for students who are in the workplace or returning to the workplace. We also have an RTO which has it's own platform and you can find out more about our VET offering here.
Any student registered with a school in South Australia or the Northern Territory can be resulted for SACE through their school. We work in partnership with the school to complete the work for resulting. Students complete 10 credits of Essential Mathematics (Money, Money, Money in our platform), 20 credits of Essential English (8 negotiated pieces of work); 10 credits of Exploring Identities and Futures (Who am I; Who do I want to be; Who do others think I am in our platform); and 10 credits of Activating Identities and Futures (Investigative Insights and What happened there then in our platform). This covers their compulsory 50 credits. They then need to do a further 150 credits (at least 60 at stage 2) in order to complete their SACE. We negotiate with students how they do this, as there are many options including VET if that is their preference.
If you are studying with us as part of a school partnership program (OAC or FLO) then you only pay the school top up fee that every student enrolled at that school pays. If you are studying with us outside of the mainstream school system (homeschooling, overseas or outside of SA/NT) then you have to engage with us privately and the costs are listed in the store.
Homeschool subscriptions are for the platform only and enrol the parent/guardian as the tutor. Complete subscriptions are fo the platform AND teaching, with two tutorials per week. Individual tutorials can be purchased by homeschoolers if they want ad hoc support rather than a complete package. The RTO offers the VET courses and they are purchased through the inventoriumrto.com.au website.
Inventorium Education
Inventorium acknowledges that underneath our feet is a land criss-crossed with the lines of a map that has existed for thousands of years. Our staff live and work on the land of the Kaurna, Ramindjeri, and Ngarrindjeri people in the South, and the Dharug and Eora peoples in the East. We honour and extend respect to the indigenous members of our community, and recognise their connection with Country, and we are grateful to be able to share this country with Australians from all nations.
