We partner with your school to teach your students online, off campus (usually they are at home), to re-engage them in learning. We offer an alternative approach to anyone else and it works for 95% of the students we work with. Normally we can tell the 5% that it won't work with, and we discuss this with you when we first meet. We also charge termly for teaching so if it isn't working for a student, you can stop after the first term.
Our facilitators are all registered with the South Australian TRB, and we match students and teachers according to their needs and interests. We can work towards SACE and/or a VET certificate (through our RTO) to meet the students needs.
We charge an annual platform fee and then invoice tutoring per term, so if a student wishes to return to school at any time, you have not paid for any tutoring upfront. Our tutors also act as a case workers as they build a strong relationship with the students over time, and the students tend to open up to them about issues they don't discuss otherwise. We then come back to you to draw on school counsellors, etc to provide wrap around support.
Our online learning programmes are designed to develop employability skills to support the students in gaining sustainable employment. For many of them, a high school certificate is not a goal, but getting a full-time job is. We help them achieve this outcome if that is their preference.
We provide you with a 3 weekly update on the students progress in weeks 3 and 6, and then a full end of term report. Any absence is notified on a weekly basis.
We're committed to your student's success. We tailor any curriculum or learning program to meet their needs and work with you and their parents to get the student back on track. If we can get the student back into school, we view this as a success.
Inventorium Education
Inventorium acknowledges that underneath our feet is a land criss-crossed with the lines of a map that has existed for thousands of years. Our staff live and work on the land of the Kaurna, Ramindjeri, and Ngarrindjeri people in the South, and the Dharug and Eora peoples in the East. We honour and extend respect to the indigenous members of our community, and recognise their connection with Country, and we are grateful to be able to share this country with Australians from all nations.
